Configuring an outgoing SMTP mail server
To configure an outgoing SMTP mail server, complete the following steps:
- From the navigation tree, expand the relevant server node and select Notifications.
- On the E-mail Servers tab, click New.
- In the Server Description field, enter a name for the server.
- In the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) area, enter the IP address and port number of the outgoing mail server. The default port number is 25.

Select one of the following options:
- SSL/TLS

STARTTLS
Note: If you use Microsoft Office 365, select STARTTLS.
- Click Apply.
